Hair scrunching is a popular easy-to-do technique, it’s super simple and adds volume and texture to your hair, producing some pretty amazing results if done properly. Finding the best products for scrunching your hair can be difficult, so we’ve decided to help you out and also threw in some extra tips in order to make sure you have guaranteed scrunching success.
From using hundreds of hair products I have come across a few must-haves. The best products for scrunching hair are:

Choose The Scrunch Styling Technique
Are you capable of doing braids in your hair? Do you have patience enough to place a nice bun in your head? If you answered no to both of these, then your best bet is to start with the wet look and scrunch and spray. Here is how.
Wash your hair with a good shampoo. Then condition. Choose a mild hold hairspray, and a good scrunch spray like Aussie in the purple plastic bottle, or Herbal Essences Totally Twisted Curl Scrunching Gel (both mentioned above).
Squeeze the excess water out.
Apply some scrunch spray to the entire head. Start at the roots and work your way down to the bottom. While placing the product on squeeze the sections.
Flip your head upside down. Put a diffuser on a blowdryer, and place up to the hair at least 2-3 inches away from the scalp.
Using your fingers scrunch, and twist small sections of the hair. DO NOT fully dry the head completely. Make sure to do it halfway about 70% should be dry.
Flip your head back up, squeeze the sections again. Spray with hairspray.
To go to sleep, place the hair up using a nice size hair clip. Try to get most of the hair into the clip. Then place a silk scarf over it. When you wake up, freshen it up with your fingers, and a little bit of water. Spray and you’re ready to go.
I prefer doing this hairstyle half wet. When your hair is fully dry, you can definitely spruce it up. By adding a few squirts of the product and your fingers.
